1. About These Terms
These Terms apply to every visitor, registered user, and paying customer of EdgeCaseExchange. If you are using the Service or purchasing a Starter Kit on behalf of an organization or company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to both you personally and that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, by an in-product notice or email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). By accessing the Service, creating an account, or purchasing any digital goods, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly sell products to or collect personal data from minors. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Service.
3. Accounts and Sign-In
Platform Authentication: Sign-in to EdgeCaseExchange is passwordless and operates exclusively via third-party OAuth2 providers (Google and GitHub). We do not collect, store, or manage passwords for accessing our platform.
Starter Kit Features vs. Platform Sign-In: Interactive previews and documentation on our website showcasing features like passwordless magic links, Bcrypt credential sign-ins, device session control centers, and audit logs represent functional capabilities included inside the downloadable Starter Kit deliverables. They do not represent the authentication mechanisms of the EdgeCaseExchange website itself.
User Responsibility & Security: You are responsible for maintaining control of the Google or GitHub account used to sign in. Account recovery occurs exclusively through your third-party provider; we cannot recover access to accounts lost due to compromised or deleted OAuth profiles.
Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@edgecaseexchange.com. Account deletion revokes your access to the platform, but does not entitle you to a refund or void past transactions, as all digital sales are final.
4. Products & Deliverables
Everything sold on EdgeCaseExchange is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, auto-renewals, or free trials. Our core offerings include:
Free GitHub Repositories: (github.com/rani-rangari) Public repositories and edge case insights made freely available on GitHub under open-source terms.
Full-Stack Starter Kits: (/pricing) — a commercial full-stack source-code product sold under a separate license. Use of the Kit is governed by the License, which forms part of these Terms when you purchase the Kit. Each purchase grants a single-user license tied strictly to the GitHub username provided at checkout, and any additional individual accessing or working with the raw source code must purchase a separate license.
Edge Cases & Workspaces: (/edge-cases) Interactive case studies, live code breakdown environments, and technical documentation detailing specific failure modes and resolution strategies available on the platform for educational analysis.
5. Payments
Prices are displayed on the relevant product page in the currency indicated (default: USD). We process all payments securely through Stripe. We do not see, store, or handle your payment card details—that data is processed directly by Stripe under their own privacy policy and terms of service.
You are responsible for any applicable local taxes, duties, or bank currency conversion fees required by your jurisdiction. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, an unauthorized transaction, or a breach of these Terms—in which case any charged amount will be refunded in full.
6. No Refunds (All Sales Final)
Due to the non-returnable nature of digital software and proprietary source code, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a purchase is completed.

7. No Subscriptions or Recurring Charges
All purchases on EdgeCaseExchange are strict, one-time transactions. We do not offer subscription products, free trials, or auto-renewing plans, and we will never bill your payment method on a recurring basis. Every purchase requires an explicit checkout action initiated by you.
8. Repository Access via GitHub
Access to our paid Full-Stack Starter Kits is delivered by sending a collaborator invitation to the GitHub account or email address associated with your purchase using GitHub’s platform APIs.
- Accepting Invitations: You are responsible for accepting the GitHub invitation to access the source code, documentation, and repository updates. Delivery is deemed complete once our system dispatches the invitation.
- Account Security & Access Limits: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account. Sharing repository access, re-granting access to third parties, or redistributing private code beyond the scope granted by your License is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate revocation of access without refund.
- Username Changes & Account Loss: If you change your GitHub username or experience delivery issues, contact support@edgecaseexchange.com with your order details so we can reissue the invitation. We cannot recover repository access if your GitHub account is permanently suspended or deleted.
9. License Grant for the Full-Stack Starter Kits
Use of the Full-Stack Starter Kit is governed by the License, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference when you purchase the Kit.
The License grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the source code to build, deploy, and launch your own commercial applications or client projects. The License explicitly prohibits redistributing, reselling, creating public source code mirrors, or sharing private GitHub repository access with unauthorized third parties.
10. User content and feedback
If you send us feedback, bug reports, feature requests, or technical suggestions—whether via email, GitHub issues, or any other channel—you grant EdgeCaseExchange a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual right to use, implement, and incorporate that feedback into our platform, products, and source code without any compensation or obligation to you. Don't share confidential or proprietary information of yours or anyone else's in feedback.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable laws, including export controls and sanctions.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Kit, the course content, or paid source code in violation of the License.
- Mirror our content (whole or in substantial part) into public repositories, paste-bins, AI training datasets, or competing courses or starter kits.
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically extract content from the Service except as expressly permitted by robots.txt
- Interfere with the Service's operation - including denial-of- service attacks, abusing the auth or payments flow, or attempting to bypass rate limits.
- Impersonate another user, entity, or represent yourself as an affiliate or agent of EdgeCaseExchange.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including our website design, source code templates, edge case studies, documentation, video guides, and brand assets, remain the exclusive property of EdgeCaseExchange and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Our brand name, marks, and logos may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.
13. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@edgecaseexchange.com with the subject line "Copyright Complaint" and include: (a) your contact details, (b) a description of the work you believe is infringed, (c) the URL of the allegedly infringing material, and (d) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised. We will review and respond promptly.
14. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Service, source code, Starter Kits, and educational materials are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory—including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or system integration.
We do not warrant that the Service or source code will be completely error-free, uninterrupted, or secure, or that any defects will be immediately corrected. You are solely responsible for evaluating, testing, and verifying whether the source code and platform materials are appropriate and secure for your specific environment and use cases.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EdgeCaseExchange and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption—arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, source code, or educational materials.
Our total cumulative liability for any claims arising under or related to these Terms or the use of our products shall strictly not exceed the total amount you actually paid to EdgeCaseExchange for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. For free resources, repositories, or workspaces, our total liability shall be $0.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service or private GitHub repositories at any time if you breach these Terms or the License. or if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Sections 10–15 and 17 survive termination.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in India.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by posting the revised version on this page with an updated "Last Modified" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
